Everyone knows that breakfast is the most important meal of
the day. We make it easy for you to make sure your child gets fueled up
for the day with our convenient breakfast programs. And we
make it even easier to add this valuable way to begin the day
with our affordable
prices.
Our breakfast menus comply with the National School Breakfast
Program Guideline which requires that each meal consist of
four offered items from the food pyramid. An
example of a
wholesome way to start the day would be: Bagel, cream cheese,
orange juice and milk.
Students are offered all four components. They must take three
of the four offered items from the various food groups to
qualify for a meal. Students who participate in the
subsidized meal program are eligible to receive free and
reduced breakfast.
Elementary - Grades PreK-5
Breakfast is served either in the cafeteria or delivered
directly to the classrooms. Breakfast is served after
students arrive at school and/or during normal school hours. A healthy variety of easy to eat
and kid-favorite entrees are offered daily, along with 100% juice and low-fat milk. Students may
pre-order breakfast using the lunch envelopes sent home weekly
or cash walk-ins are acceptable. Make them smile with a good
meal waiting for them when they get to school!
Secondary - Grades 6-12
As your child grows, so does their appetite! So added to the
menu are many hot breakfast choices, such as croissant,
biscuit and bagel sandwiches and the ever popular French toast
sticks. Of course, they still get their fresh fruit or
100% juice
and milk. Students love to jump start the day by sharing
breakfast with their friends in the school cafeterias before
school begins.
