The Instruction and Accountability Department provides support services in all areas of curriculum, instruction, and assessment to the Waterford School District's PreK-12 and adult education programming. These support services are focused on assisting schools with their continuous improvement efforts and provides guidance in the planning, implementation, and evaluation phases of instructional and assessment programs.
 

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide support in all areas of curriculum, instruction, and assessment to the Waterford School District

• Provide resources and support to PreK-12 and adult education sites to support the achievement of the mission, vision, and goals of the Waterford School District

• Provide professional development for Waterford School District employees

• Serve as liaisons between the state and national department of education as it relates to assessments and programming

• Provide leadership teams with resources necessary to improve student success

• Provide support to supervised programs to initiate and develop programs that will enable students to transition from school to work, college or specialized training

• Facilitate goal setting and strategic planning with building leadership teams for the purpose of achieving the District mission
