Durant teachers follow the
Waterford School District and Michigan Merit Curriculum which
includes the Waterford School District final course
assessments. Students must take the Michigan Merit Exam (MME)
to meet Waterford School District graduation requirements.
Durant students are encouraged to attend the Oakland Technical
Center (OTC) to earn elective credits.
One half credit is earned
when a student passes a course with a grade of 70% (C) or

not earning a C or better in all classes, or are missing
