WSD School Bond Election 2020 KidsOn August 4, 2020, voters in the Waterford School District will be asked to consider a no tax-rate increase bond proposal. The proposal is about enhancing the learning environment and protecting the community investment in its school district.

The bond proposal calls for:

  1. expanding student safety and school security measures;
  2. upgrading classrooms, heating and cooling systems, fire alarm systems, music equipment, and athletic equipment;
  3. updating technology and technology infrastructure;
  4. replacing items that have reached the end of their life expectancy, including roofs, lighting, flooring, furniture, and school buses;
  5. constructing a new Early Childhood Center; and,
  6. renovating classrooms and media centers to safely address teacher-student interaction and collaboration.
