swim lessons, water aerobics, and personal training. members will receive discounts for these programs.

Employees do not qualify for the Business Membership if the
company's home office is in Waterford but they work at a
facility outside of Waterford

Seniors must provide proof of age to qualify for the Senior
Membership and Daily Pass.

The following proof of residency or employment is
required at time of application:
Ø
Residents: Michigan Driver’s License or
State identification is required.
Ø
Youth: Must have the same last name as
the head of household. Valid ID’s include driver’s license, birth
certificate, school identification or report card. If the last
name is different, certificate of birth or marriage must be
displayed.
Ø
Non-resident employees (Business Membership):
Driver’s License or State identification, along with a completed
Business Membership Form filled out by the employer.

Payment options:
Ø
Cash, check, Master Card or Visa credit, money
order, or gift certificates are accepted forms of payment.
Ø
Payments for memberships are accepted at both Pool &
Fitness Center locations.
Ø
Payments for programs are accepted at both Pool &
Fitness Center locations, and through the Community Education
Department.

Admittance procedure:
Ø
When purchasing a daily pass for the first time,
patrons must have proof of residency, provide their phone
number, and have their picture taken for security purposes. A
parent or legal guardian must sign for persons 18 or younger.
Ø
Members must check-in at the front desk to gain
entry to the Centers.
Ø
Children 10 and under must be accompanied and
supervised by an individual 16 or older in all areas of the
centers. Individuals supervising others do not need to pay if
they are NOT participating.
Ø
Children who are non-swimmers and/or under 48” must
have a supervisor with them in the water.
Ø
Children under five (5) are admitted free with a
paying adult.
Ø
The minimum age to use the fitness center is 13.
Ages 13-14 must complete a Fitness Center Orientation prior to
using the fitness equipment.

Cancellations/Refunds/Service Fees
Ø
Memberships are non-transferable. There are no
refunds on memberships.
Ø
A membership can be “frozen” for medical reasons
with documentation. A letter from a physician stating the length
of “freeze” needed is required.
Ø
Returned checks are subject to a $25.00
administration charge.
Ø
Refunds for programs and classes will be issued if a
request is made prior to the beginning of the second class. A
$10.00 service fee will be deducted.
Ø
No refunds are given after the second class or for
one time classes/programs.
Ø
Classes or programs can be credited to the
participant’s account in full, if the request for refund is at
least 7 days prior to the first day of class.
