The Waterford Success Program has served the Waterford School District since 1998. This prevention program deals with students in grades kindergarten through seventh and their families. Principals, teachers, and social workers identify student having a high level of absences, 10 or more per school year, and refer them to the Success Program. Most the the student have also been identified as having other risk indicators. For example, parents divorced/separated, sibling involved with the judicial system, poor peer relations, failure to academically perform at grade level or ability.

The family-driven program works to meet the unique needs of each gamily. The program provides monthly support meetings, parenting and drug prevention education, student support services, and referrals to local services agencies. The student's school social worker provides support and addresses the individual needs of each student.

Inspire, educate, and empower our students for their future!
